Warranty
In the world of online shopping, we know that furniture is hard to judge by photos. Our clients consistently tell us that our pieces are even more stunning in person. At MasayaCo, we take pride in making handcrafted, heirloom-quality furniture. We warranty (ordered november 2024 and after) our products against factory defects for 5 years under normal use. If our furniture breaks during this period, MasayaCo will repair or replace the product. To ensure clarity and confidence, we've outlined warranty terms for our product categories below.
Indoor Woven Products
Our 5 year warranty extends to the original purchaser of our woven furniture, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, alterations, exposure to direct sunlight, placement in outdoor or high-humidity areas. Natural variations in the woven materials are not considered defects.
Indoor Solid Wood
Our 5 year warranty applies to the original purchaser of our wood furniture, covering structural defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper care, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, unauthorized repairs, or natural aging of the wood, such as changes in color or grain.
Outdoor Furniture
Our 5 year warranty covers the original purchaser of our outdoor furniture, addressing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
Your warranty does not cover
Environmental Exposure
Damage resulting from prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions such as direct sunlight, heavy rain, snow, or freezing temperatures, unless the furniture is properly maintained and stored.
Natural Aging
Changes in teak wood such as minor cracking, checking, fading, or discoloration, which are natural characteristics of the material and do not affect its structural integrity.
Improper Use or Care
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, improper storage, or lack of recommended maintenance, such as failing to clean or treat the teak as advised.
Modifications or Unauthorized Repairs
Issues arising from alterations, customizations, or repairs not performed or authorized by MasayaCo.
Normal Wear and Tear
Gradual degradation from regular use, including surface scratches, minor dents, and other signs of everyday wear.
Recommended
We recommend using furniture covers or storing products indoors during extreme weather to prolong their lifespan and maintain their beauty.
